The mistake I see many business owners make is that they're funneling prospects directly to a sales page without really connecting with them.
Now, don't get me wrong...
Posting all the time is great and stories are entertaining...
But experts say one of the most effective ways to get prospects to buy from you...
Is through a little-known direct marketing secret called an advertorial.
You see, you might not be familiar with it, but studies show that advertorials, or ads dressed up as editorial content, have the potential to supercharge sales.
In fact, a study by Reader's Digest found that their advertorials sold 81% more products than the ones written as traditional advertisements!
Heck, they almost doubled their sales just by adding an advertorial to their funnel!

Just think about it.
You're essentially asking prospects to put a foreign supplement into their bodies or trust you with their money, based on what...a couple of benefits listed on a display ad?
If you really think about it, your prospects need more information to trust you with their hard-earned money.
And that's where advertorials come into play.
Now in case you're wondering, advertorials aren't new. They've been helping folks make a mint since the 1900s, according to Outbrain.
I think it’s just that many small business owners probably never heard of it...let alone how
to harness its potential to boost sales.

...Instead of sending prospects directly to your sales page, next time try sending them to an advertorial and see what happens.
